What emptiness would I feel
If I looked upon the starless skies
What sweetness would I know
If your voice caressed my soul,
What silence would echo
Without you to make me whole
What instant would feel like forever
If my lips felt your kiss,
Would I be haunted by eternity
If you became the one I’d miss
What cloud would I be on
If we danced to your favorite song,
What storm would I endure
If the lyrics said you are moving on
What destiny may be written
If you pierced my heart with my pen and blade,
Would a goddess give up immortality
To be in love forever and a day.
